Egg and Cheese Quiche
Ingredients:
- 1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese, such as cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella

- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish. Place the pie crust in the dish and press it evenly on the bottom and sides. Trim and flute the edges.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg together until well combined.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the bottom of the pie crust. If you want to add any fillings, layer them over the cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the cheese and fillings, making sure to cover them evenly.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the quiche is golden and set in the center. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
